The Magic Mountain is a story about hiking. Sassy, the plucky yet contemplative heroine, goes on an epic journey up the titular peak with a mysterious companion. Their goal: to reach the top, eat the sandwich they packed, and get down before Sassy’s parents finish dinner. Along the way, they’ll face tourist-hating gnomes, sandwich-hating bridge trolls, sandwich-loving elephant people, mountaintop rockpile vipers, inadequate trail markers, and other common hiking hazards.
